Here at EuroLuxHome.com, Greg and I enjoy talking to a great many people across the world about buying antique furniture.  Most of our customers are very curious about how and where we find our pieces and what actually happens on a buying trip.

Most believe it must be very glamorous - from meals eaten at fine restaurants to sight-seeing at famous sites and museums across Europe and Asia.  The truth is that it is not glamorous at all - it is a great deal of hard work.  I'm not complaining - I love my job and can't imagine doing anything else!

But since most folks just roll their eyes when I mention the long, 12 to 16 hour days, the markets that start before the break of dawn, and all of the loading and unloading of heavy, antique furniture - I thought I would invite you along on our most recent buying trip to experience some it with us.
